About Fiona
I am a grade 12 high school student graduating and studying with a scholarship in studying music at university. I’ve been in piano lessons since the age of 5 years old, and was self taught in singing up until my third year of learning to sing. I’ve been in many ensemble bands (classical to jazz) and have performed many times for my school. I’ve released music as well online and have RCM experience in piano.

I like to teach with as much flexibility as I possibly can for other students as everyone learns in many different ways. There will be varieties from visual learning (writing, visuals in music theory) and auditory as well(auditory activities, listening tests etc.). With music whether I’m teaching piano or singing, repetition and practice in tutoring lessons are quite important as after class it is essential to keep at practice to truly understand/improve/perfect the skill. Not only with repetition there will be tons of room for trying new skills and reaching out of comfort zones in certain areas of practice.
