About Jenifer
I started playing the piano as a small child, and then had oboe & recorder lessons as well as a teenager at Trinity College of Music. I studied music at university for 5 years, continuing to have instrumental music lessons at London music colleges as well. I started teaching the oboe and piano in schools and privately whilst still at university; and have continued to do so for more than 4 decades. In the meantime I have taught music in primary and secondary schools, have taught at performing arts schools; and have also been a peripatetic music teacher in schools for many years.

My approach to to teaching music is informal, encouraging and enthusiastic. It is important to me that students feel they are progressing and enjoy their playing experience. Everyone is different and I tailor lessons to each individual student.
Most lessons are 30 minutes long; but I am flexible about this.
I teach all ages and abilities; all levels from beginner to Grade 8.
I have taught music for more than 4 decades; and have university degrees, teaching diplomas and performing qualifications - BMusHons, MA, PGCE, CTABRSM & LTCL
