About Andre
My goal is to provide you with enough knowledge so you can study on your own. There is a lot of content on the internet, so you just need to know how to study.
I love to apply theory to practice and this is something I try to do in class: bring examples of songs and suggestions from students to see how music, in general, can be simple to understand when you know the right concepts and tools. The classes inevitably end up in the execution of the songs, which involves learning the instrument as well.

I always taught maths, physics and chemistry when I was a university student. Today, I work at a big school and my strength is to identify students' weakness, always working on building fundamental concepts in a solid and interesting way.
I believe that the secret of mastering anything is effort and practice in an intelligent way. I like to analyse other artists and understand their strengths and weaknesses. This helps us to understand our own style and identity.
I play guitar since I was 10, but I never studied in a formal way. I am graduated in Engineering at USP (top university in Brazil) and have always studied a lot on my own.
