About Thomas
I am retired from education and currently work as a substitute 2 days a week. I have been a supervisor and have developed training materials in both industry and in the academic realm for some 40 years. I have a simple, yet effective approach in that I am an empathic instructor who makes the effort to elevate the student as much as they perceive and make the effort to do so.
In the past, when I taught US Citizenship, my students passed their Citizenship exams 1 0 0 % of the time on their initial testing. So, yes, I do drive each student to succeed and escalate their self-esteem and academic performances.

I first use various diagnostic tools to determine the students current level of comprehension. Since I can tutor ESL, all phases of English up to the collegiate level (including both American and British dialects), basic arithmetic, German, Speech, basic sciences, Computer sciences, I have successfully elevated the level of the student's performance passed the standard academic levels.
