About Gemma
I specialise in clarinet, saxophone, music theory and music GCSE. I am now a woodwind and composition teacher based in Liverpool, teaching a range or ages and abilities. I also play in the Maghull Wind Orchestra and run a Community Ensemble. I enjoy teaching a range of people as I believe that I also learn from the students as well as them teaching from me!

I provide lessons to: Any age Any Ability Grades 1 - 8 For the first lesson: I will ask you to complete a little task covering a basis of topics. The first questions are what you wish to get out of the lessons, what you know you enjoy, don't enjoy, how you learn best and when is best for you (in terms of lessons). Then there will be a list of questions that could come up in a theory exam (or reading sheet music if that is your aim). Then in each lesson I will outline the objectives and try and make the lessons suited to your preferences in learning. Throughout the lessons I will make sure you still understand, and make sure to be as differential as I can! I understand what it's like to feel like you're not getting anywhere, but that's why I am here to help!
