My Teaching Approach: Personalized, Engaging & Goal-Oriented

As a dedicated vocal coach and flute instructor, I believe that music education should be both structured and enjoyable, tailored to each student’s needs and aspirations. My approach is student-centered, meaning I adapt my teaching style to best suit the learning pace, goals, and musical interests of each individual.

My Teaching Method & Techniques
• Foundational Skills First – Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student, I ensure you build a strong foundation in technique, breath control, and music reading before progressing to more complex pieces.
• Practical & Theoretical Balance – I incorporate music theory, ear training, and sight-reading into lessons to develop well-rounded musicians.
• Interactive Learning – I use engaging exercises, including call-and-response for vocal training, rhythm drills for flute, and creative improvisation to keep lessons dynamic.
• Confidence Building – I create a supportive environment that encourages students to express themselves musically without fear of making mistakes.

A Typical Lesson Plan

Each lesson is customized, but a general structure might look like this:
1. Warm-up & Technique Development – Breathwork, scales, vocal/flute exercises.
2. Music Theory & Sight-Reading – Learning notation, rhythm patterns, and phrasing.
3. Repertoire Practice – Working on songs or pieces suited to the student’s level and goals.
4. Creative Exploration – Improvisation, interpretation, and performance techniques.
5. Feedback & Homework Assignment – Constructive guidance on what to practice before the next session.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor?
• Multi-Instrumental Experience – I specialize in both vocal coaching and flute, allowing students to explore different aspects of music.
• Adaptability – Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced musician, I tailor my lessons to suit your needs.
• Supportive & Encouraging Teaching Style – I focus on building confidence and helping students overcome performance anxiety.
• Lessons for All Ages & Levels – I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to advanced learners.

Who Are My Lessons For?
• Beginners wanting to explore singing or flute playing.
• Intermediate musicians looking to improve technique and expand repertoire.
• Advanced students & performers refining their skills for auditions or performances.
• Adults learning for fun or as a personal challenge.

My goal is to make learning music a rewarding and fulfilling journey. Whether you dream of performing on stage or just want to enjoy playing music as a hobby, I am here to guide you every step of the way!
