My teaching approach is customized for each student. Since everyone learns differently I write out a lesson plan tailored for you individually. Call me David or Davie. I eat, sleep, and breathe music. Needless to say, I have a strong passion for showing others how to have fun with music, jam, and express themselves. Looking for someone to teach you music theory, singing, songwriting, guitar, or bass? I gotchu. To me music is a way to process my emotions, bring out my soul, connect with other people, and much more. Once you learn the language of music you gain access to a whole new world of fun and connection. I started taking guitar lessons at 6 years old (Thank you Mom) and have practiced solo and in bands since. We have a lot to talk about. I want you to feel comfortable and confident approaching other musicians to collaborate with. Let’s get you rocking out asap.

I've been getting guitar lessons from David particularly to learn "how to jam". I have some experience in music theory and classical guitar going in and jamming is a whole different beast.
David would always insert some music theory in every lesson which is SO IMPORTANT. This let me know a lot about David's teaching style and how he earned my respect as a teacher. Theory is key!
His personality is encouraging and he'll politely recommend me to redo an exercise if it feeds my growth as a student.
