About Carol

I have a BMus degree from Cardiff University specialising in piano performance. I obtained a piano teaching diploma from the Royal College of Music and a P.G.C.E from the University of Exeter teaching Music and French. I have subsequently taught class music up to A-level and piano for many years.

For beginner piano students I use the Alfred method of teaching. However, for students that have previously learnt before I give a consultation lesson to assess their needs and level of attainment. Some students prefer to work for the ABRSM examinations while others like to specialise in jazz / popular music!
