Collen often used his teaching experiences as chances to grow and improve skills as well as to encourage students to reflect on their learning.

I know this person very well, I've been with him since 2017 in our 1st year of Varsity. What he would do every time is before we wrote all our semester tests, almost 12 to 15 students would come to him for the content, mostly girls though. They would spend the whole of Saturday and Sunday preparing for the semester tests. He loved helping them. These people always produced marks after being helped by Collen.

The following year, he then worked as a tutor officially for the department of Microbiology and Biochemistry.
