Hello! My name is Daria and I am a University of Toronto student. I have completed the Spanish B HL for the IB Diploma. Then started teaching Spanish for beginners 5 years ago. My specialization at the University of Toronto is the Spanish language, Spanish culture, history of international relations within the Spanish-speaking countries, and other ones around the world.

I use a variety of sources for teaching, such as books, and a set of exercises that I created myself for efficient learning. I teach gradually, step-by-step, focusing on the individual learning objectives and goals. For each class, we will learn and practice one grammar aspect. I will provide each student with charts and tables that I created based on the learning materials, structured in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. Speaking practice exercises will be done during each class. I will be telling the patterns to ease the memorization process of some rules. After each class, depending on the topic and homework, additional materials discussed during class will be sent to your email. I record YouTube videos for the audible homework assignments and better memorization to listen to them on the go and memorize faster.
