About Tilly
I am a self-employed musician and music therapist based in Edinburgh. I have sung since I was little. Throughout the years I have had many fabulous singing teachers and I have learnt so much from them. For the past four years, I have been teaching singing, guitar, ukulele, music theory and choirs.

My name is Tilly and I am a private tutor. I am based in Edinburgh. I have a 1st class music degree. Before moving to Edinburgh, I was teaching music in various schools (primarily Special Needs Schools). I am offering Singing lessons, Guitar lessons, Ukulele lessons, Theory Lessons and Music for well-being. My teaching method is to work with the student(s) to establish how they learn best and adapt my approach to meet their needs. I believe students learn best when they enjoy what they are learning, are interested and intellectually challenged. I can also teach in a variety of styles depending on the student and their interests e.g., Classical, Pop, Fun, Exam-based etc. I will always maintain a positive and engaging environment during lessons and I will turn up to lessons planned and prepared. I can teach from home or travel within a certain distance. I also offer online lessons.
