About Zayna
I am a tutor who is dedicated, diligent, and disciplined, and I expect the same from my students. Together, we will be able to make significant change in your abilities. Along with reviewing concepts and completing practice problems, I will instill good learning habits and skills that are necessary to flourish. I am professional but fun, and I hope to teach and inspire quality learning. As a student with a 3.93/4.0 GPA myself, I believe that everyone is capable and can accomplish their goals, if they put in the work...and I would love to help get you there!

I believe that practice problems are the best way to learn. Active recall and working through problems is really what makes a student able to apply themselves. My typical lesson plan will start with a couple of practice problems for warmup. Then, we will review any concepts or theories that need clarification or work. Finally, using what we have learned, we would continue doing more practice problems. I believe practice problems can be fun and should not be dreaded, and I will bring that aspect into my tutoring, so that the best results can be achieved. I am happy to tutor for elementary school all the way up to high school in math and biology!
