About Julia
I’m a Nationally Registered EMT and pre-med student at UT Austin who recently completed EMT training and successfully passed the NREMT. I understand how challenging EMT material can be, and I’m passionate about helping students feel confident in their knowledge and prepared for their exams. I’m patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through difficult concepts.

My approach is to make EMT material easier to understand by focusing on the “why” behind each concept rather than relying on memorization. I use simple explanations, real-life patient scenarios, and NREMT-style practice questions to help students apply what they learn.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review, followed by focused instruction on the student’s most difficult topics. We then work through practice questions and scenarios together before ending with a review of key takeaways and areas to practice.
What sets me apart is that I recently completed EMT training and earned my National Registry certification, so I understand the challenges students face and can explain concepts from a student’s perspective.
My lessons are designed for EMT students at any point in their course, whether they are learning the material for the first time, preparing for an exam, or studying for the NREMT.
