About Victoria

I have been giving lessons for over 10 years and have taught over 100 students.

After working for several years in industry with colleagues from different countries and with many different languages, I identified the problems they faced in the workplace. Additionally I realised that other teaching courses did not cater or adapt to their individual needs.

It was these realisations that inspired me to set up my own business, teaching English to people who worked within UK organisations, or who wished to work for English speaking organisations abroad.

My work is very labour intensive as I only teach one to one and I work intensively with each student to achieve their personal aims.

I assess each student and interview them, producing a complete learning profile based on their learning styles and what they want to achieve.

I work with realistic expectations. I do not make any claims that I cannot achieve. At the end of the day I can only provide you with the tools to achieve your goals.

The rest is up to you! However I take a personal interest in all of my students and work with them to achieve their goals, whether this be in the academic world or in employment.

I maintain contact with my students long after they have moved on and my passion comes from seeing them grow and succeed, knowing that I had some small part to play in helping them!

I am dedicated to helping you achieve your professional goals with my “made to measure”, one to one, personalised English language tuition!

After 20 years of working within both Government organisations and private business, I decided to combine my knowledge of the culture and language of those places plus their recruitment processes, with my love of teaching English which I did part time. As a result I am able to offer a unique insight into teaching English to professional people like you!

All of my students have gone on to achieve their goals! I don't pretend that my courses are easy. My students are expected to work hard. I also give them homework! But the results speak for themselves:

IELTS Academic score increased from 6.0 and 6.5 to 7.5 (in all areas: reading, writing, listening, speaking) for prospective Junior Doctors and PhD Engineering students

IELTS Academic score increased from 6.0 to 7.0 (in all areas for Nursing and Social Work in the UK)

University of Cambridge BEC Vantage certificate. This qualification allows candidates to work in the field of international Business:
