About Shujin
Hello everyone! I am Shujin (Sarah), from Zhejiang Province, China. I graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing with a Bachelor's Degree in Musicology, and I have a Master's Degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology from Leiden University in the Netherlands. I have a cross-cultural background and enjoy exploring and embracing different cultures; I am passionate about teaching and have been described as "a different person while teaching", and "an excellent, patient, insightful and perceptive guide, facilitator and leader! ". I have quite a bit of experience in teaching, especially Chinese, music and cross-culture. I look forward to meeting you, learning and growing together, and enjoying a classroom that reaps joy and knowledge!

I will work with my students to explore a tailor-made approach to teaching that best suits them. I am open to all teaching methods and techniques whether it be using textbooks, multimedia, free-form dialogue and tutorials, with the student's aspirations and preferences as the primary focus.
