About Amanda
I am a native Mandarin speaker from China and I am now based in London. I have a background in broadcasting and hosting, which means I was trained to speak clearly and confidently. I have also hosted many events, so I enjoy communicating with people and creating a lively atmosphere. I love sharing Mandarin and Chinese culture with others. In my lessons, I like to keep things flexible, relaxed, and enjoyable, while also making sure there is steady progress. I listen carefully to each person’s goals and interests, and I adapt the lessons so that learning feels natural and motivating. For me, teaching is not just about language, it is also about building confidence, exploring culture, and making the learning journey enjoyable.
