About Chris
Learning a new language should feel like an adventure, not a chore. That's the one thing I'll never compromise on as a tutor.
I'm Chris, originally from Bogotá, Colombia, now based in Dubai. I've lived and worked across Colombia, Qatar, Spain, and the UAE, which means Spanish has been my tool for connecting with people across very different cultures and contexts. Not in a classroom. In real life.
I'm not a certified teacher, and I won't pretend to be. What I bring is a genuine love for language, for people, and for the moment something clicks. I'm currently learning Arabic myself, and that experience reminds me constantly how alive and exciting the process of acquiring a new language can be when you approach it with curiosity instead of pressure.
My lessons are built around you: your goals, your pace, your world. Whether you want to travel through Latin America, connect with Spanish-speaking colleagues, or simply enjoy one of the richest cultures on the planet, I'll make sure every session feels worth your time.

Most people don't fail at learning Spanish because it's too hard. They stop because it never felt relevant to their actual life. That's the problem I'm here to solve.
The way I see it, a language is not a subject. It's a living thing. It shows up in music, in food, in the way someone tells a story or orders a coffee. That's how I teach it. Not as a system to memorize, but as a world to enter. We might spend one session on a song, another on a conversation you actually need to have next week, and another on why Latin Americans express emotion the way we do. Every lesson will feel different, because that's how real learning works.
What I bring to the table is adaptability built from years of connecting with people across very different cultures and contexts. I pick up quickly on how you think, what engages you, and where you're getting stuck. Then I adjust. That's not a technique I learned. It's just how I operate.
Sessions run 60 minutes, online or in person in Dubai. Come curious. We'll take it from there.
