About Zoia
I am a rising high school junior, and I have had a passion for languages since I was young. As I traveled to many different countries, I realized I love learning, which led me to becoming a tutor. I currently volunteer for Learn To Be, where I teach multiple students English and Creative Writing. I am fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and English and am studying Spanish and Korean. I reached fluency in English by just speaking it, which is why I am a firm believer in communication-based learning. My lessons focus on real conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and everyday words that you can use in real life. My goal is to help you become a more confident and independent language learner while making each lesson engaging and enjoyable. Thank you for considering me as your tutor. Zoia is an incredible tutor who was able to offer humor and daily conversations into her classes, making me forget I was even learning.
