About Alana
Hi everyone! My name is Alana and I am from London. My favourite activities are fitness, walking along the river Thames (on the rare occasions that we have sun!), exploring new countries, and - of course - learning languages.
I have been tutoring English for 5 years and I have learned French, Spanish and Portuguese from beginner level, so I have been in your shoes which helps make my classes much more relatable :)
We all learn differently so I will make sure we know exactly what style is suited to you, and then we will have fun, varied, dynamic lessons which gets the best out of you every time.

We all learn differently and I tailor my classes to suit the style that is most interesting for you. My classes are always energetic, varied and fun - seeing you progress every session is the absolute goal, whether you're a complete beginner or advanced English-speaker!
We will do speaking, reading, listening and writing based on your preference, to grow your confidence and skills like a native English speaker.
The sessions are 60 minutes.
I have tutored people of all abilities and ages - including taking a complete beginner in English to the level required to pass the university entrance exam for the United States.
