About Alex
I hold an Hon. BA in English and Gender Studies from University of Toronto (2008) and a Master of Social Work from OISE/Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at University of Toronto (2010)
Since 2021 I have run a private psychotherapy practice from where I live in Toronto, Canada. I have worked internationally with clients based in the US, Europe, Pacific Islands, and Japan providing therapy, referrals, case management, academic support and more. I consider the role of teacher to include responsibility for students well-being including mental health, so checking in with where you’re at and problem solving for any barriers to learning is part of my programming.
Lesson plans are as diverse as students themselves are - if we work together we will discuss your wants and needs at the start and lesson plans will be tailored to you.
