About Sinéad

Hello healthcare professionals!
My name is Sinead. I am a native English speaker from Ireland. I am certified in teaching English as a foreign language and I am also a qualified nurse. I graduated as a nurse in 2015. I have in total almost 5 invaluable years of experience working as a nurse in Ireland, as well as one amazing year working as a volunteer nurse in Vietnam. It was during my time in Vietnam that I also started working as an English teacher, which ignited my love for teaching English as a second language.

My education, experience and passion in both the healthcare field and education puts me in an optimal position to be able to help you on your Medical English journey.

Whether you are a healthcare professional wanting to advance your career by learning English, or you want to better understand English medical resources and conferences, then join me in mastering Medical English.

About the lesson

My lesson style is student-centered. You will engage in lessons that are practical and interactive. The lessons will be personalized to your level, which takes your strengths and weaknesses into account.

Maybe your goals are:
-To move abroad and work in an English-speaking healthcare setting
-To better understand English medical resources
-To present at international healthcare conferences
-To communicate better with healthcare professionals and patients globally

Some topics we focus on include discussing symptoms and illnesses, common medical terminology, and so much more. Of course, if there are specific topics you want to learn I am more than happy to assist you on those too.

SW! Embark on a transformative journey to advance your medical career with my specialized Medical English classes. As a dedicated nurse with a passion for effective communication, I bring a wealth of real-world experience to guide you.
Send me a message to discuss your goals and excel together!!

I worked with Sinéad in the hospital setting for over a year. During my time working with her, she was friendly, kind and a great teacher to any students on the ward. I have no doubt she would be an excellent tutor for Medical English classes

Coming from Germany, I already had a decent level of English but due to Sinéad's attentive nature and her personalised lessons I could really work on my weaknesses and achieved a new level of fluency that would have been impossible without her excellent teaching skills.
