I have one year of experience teaching French to adult learners from beginner to advanced levels. I specialize in conversation practice, pronunciation, and TCF Canada/TEF preparation, helping students gain confidence and achieve fast, measurable progress.
My academic background includes a PhD in molecular virology at the University of Bern, where I regularly supervised students, explained complex concepts clearly, and developed strong teaching and communication skills. This scientific training taught me how to create structured, efficient, and personalized learning plans for every student.
Over time, I have worked with learners from Switzerland, France, Italy, Canada, Brazil, the US, and the Middle East, adapting my teaching style to different goals: immigration, career, studies, or daily life.
My methodology combines:
Active conversation with real-life topics
Immediate corrections (+ explanations)
Vocabulary expansion
Pronunciation practice
Grammar integrated naturally
A relaxed, encouraging atmosphere
My students describe my lessons as clear, dynamic, and motivating, and many of them see visible progress within just a few weeks.

My teaching method is based on interaction, active repetition, and concrete examples. My lessons are dynamic and personalized: you will speak a lot, start practicing from the very first class, and notice your progress quickly. We will work on speaking, writing, grammar, and pronunciation, as well as practical cases such as writing emails, CVs, or presentations. I create a relaxed, motivating, and efficient atmosphere so that you gain confidence and make real progress with every lesson.
