About Quentin
I do not think of myself as a know-it-all type of teacher. I make mistakes too but the key is to get better at identifying them and adjusting the strategies to reach the objective ! Work is always rewarding in its own way, but when my students achieve progress, I make it a priority to celebrate their accomplishments and help them feel genuinely proud of themselves.

I adapt my teaching techniques to fit the specific needs of each student. For vocabulary, I emphasize repetition and consistent usage to reinforce understanding. When it comes to grammar, I focus on practical application through progressively challenging exercises, allowing students to revisit and reinforce the rules as they advance. I also employ a comparative approach, highlighting the similarities between English and French, such as shared roots and structures, to make learning more intuitive and accessible.
The first two lessons are introductory and light, centered on understanding the student’s goals, strengths, and areas needing improvement. Once I've assessed their level, I create a tailored lesson plan that aligns with their objectives. Each session usually includes a brief review, followed by targeted exercises (grammar, vocabulary, or reading comprehension) and concludes with a discussion or practical application, ensuring the student consolidates their knowledge.
My commitment to customizing each lesson is a key part of my approach. I make an effort to connect with each student’s personality, interests, and unique challenges, adjusting my methods accordingly.
I have experience tutoring students aged 10 to 19 years old, covering a range of subjects including French, English, and History for teenagers, and Law for young adults.
