About Celine
I am a French native speaker with a Psychology degree who moved to London for family reasons. I have a strong teaching and tutoring background, as I have dedicated my free time during my undergraduate to be a volunteer teacher for children with difficult background.

One of the main difficulty with the French language comes from the huge difference between the true pronunciation and the phonetic pronunciation one could deduce from the spelling of the word - ie, in French, a word is not pronunced and written in the same way.
My usual method is based on immersion by discussion in the French language in a first time. Once the student is comfortable with the words by using them often, I add written comprehension to connect the word to the way they are written.
Of course, every student needs a specific methodology, and I will always do my best to adapt my teaching to the student's needs
