About Joëlle
Hi! I’m Joëlle, a native French speaker who grew up in France and speaks French at home. I’ve also lived in Italy and Spain, and I’m originally from Côte d’Ivoire.
I’ve studied French extensively: I achieved a 9 in GCSE French, an A at A-level, studied French at university as part of my Spanish and International Business degree (earning a First), and I’m now pursuing a Master’s in Digital Marketing.
Having learned multiple languages myself, I understand the challenges learners face. I’m patient, empathetic, and approachable, and I tailor my lessons to your goals and learning style. I also welcome feedback to make every session as effective and enjoyable as possible.

I offer personalised and specialised tutoring lessons according to the individual’s needs and wants. My tutoring lessons will help students achieve their language goals and ensure that they are exposed to the language as much as possible. Extra tips and assistance will also be offered if needed.
As a student myself, I understand that everyone has their own learning style, so I adapt my lessons to suit the way you learn best. If you’d like to interact with French speakers or learn more about the Francophone world, I can help you do that too.
You will also be able to contact me outside of tutoring hours if you have any questions. I welcome feedback, and at the end of each lesson, I will ask how it went and what could be improved to make sure the tutoring fully meets your needs.
