About Sara
Bonjour! I’m Sara, a native French speaker with a passion for languages and teaching. Fluent in five languages, I deeply understand the challenges and rewards of learning a new language. I’ve dedicated over 10 years to tutoring children and adults, tailoring my lessons to meet the unique needs of each student. Beyond my teaching experience, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Translation and a master’s in International Relations, which have given me a strong foundation in language acquisition and cross-cultural communication. I’ve also volunteered with underprivileged students, reinforcing my belief in the transformative power of education. As your tutor, I’m committed to creating a professional, friendly, and supportive learning environment. My goal is to help you gain confidence in your French skills, whether for school, work, or personal growth. Together, we’ll not only achieve your goals but also enjoy the process of learning this beautiful language.

I focus on full immersion to help students think, speak, and live in French, rather than translating in their heads. Using proven techniques, including exercises from CNED (the official French government homeschooling programme), I ensure students learn with structured, high-quality resources that align with French education standards. Lessons are typically one hour long and are tailored to your level, goals, and interests. Whether you’re a beginner, a professional needing French for work, or a student preparing for exams, I adapt my methods to suit your needs. My sessions include plenty of speaking practice, real-life scenarios, and listening activities to build confidence and fluency. With 10+ years of tutoring experience, including volunteering with underprivileged students, I specialise in teaching children (8–14 years old) and adults at all levels. Together, we’ll create a supportive and engaging environment where you can thrive.

Sara is super friendly and helpful. She is currently tutoring me in french. I have learned so much more in the past 6 months than I ever thought I could have done.
One thing I love is that she can break down hard to learn aspects of a language and explain them in an easy and managable way. I would highly recommend her! Elle est super!View more recommendations
