About Umulisa
I'm an actor and I've always been specifically fascinated with the power of language. My voice work training has allowed me to learn how to nail words and accents completely different to your native tongue. When I started tutoring French, I got to incorporate some of the methods I learned into my training and found them to work wonderfully.

I am happy to teach anyone, at any level in their journey towards learning French. If not helping with homework, my teaching methodology goes as follows: - Text analysis that applies to day-to-day conversation rather than usual basics - Learning where the words lie in your mouth and tongue when you're speaking your native tongue, and how to alter them to perfect the French accent - Depending on the student's level, I try to speak French to them as much as possible. Over time, they'll find themselves understanding most of what I say. I have experience tutoring English speaking teachers themselves for 3 years at my University in California - who were keen on learning French themselves.
