I already had a foundation in French, especially in speaking, but I needed to improve my grammar, and the classes with the professor have helped me develop and refine this skill.

He is an incredible teacher. He puts so much dedication into preparing the materials and the virtual learning environment. After just one month, I already feel comfortable reading some materials. He understands exactly how fast to go at certain moments and when to focus more on others. I’m delighted — he has far exceeded my expectations! I’m definitely not letting him go anytime soon :)

Jojo is organized with plenty of different sorts of material at the ready and can pivot immediately if we request a focus on something. There are two of us taking this and working around our interests and knowledge is harder than having just one person to tutor! I particularly appreciate the skills-related work on listening. I think that's one of the hardest things to learn and the concentration on that is great.

I have been having weekly French lessons with Jocelyn for over a year now. My French was very basic when I started and has much improved.
