About Marla
I am a first-year PPES student (Philosophy, Political Science, Economics and Sociology) at Trinity College Dublin and a native German speaker originally from Germany. Teaching has been an important part of my life from an early age, and I enjoy supporting students in their learning and academic development. Having moved abroad for my studies, I value open, respectful learning environments and enjoy working with students from different backgrounds. My aim is to share my enthusiasm for learning while helping students reach their individual goals.

I offer structured and individualised tutoring tailored to each student’s level and goals, with a supportive and encouraging approach. I am a native German speaker, completed the German Abitur with the top grade of 1.0, and achieved the highest possible mark (15 points) in German as one of my final exam subjects. I have extensive tutoring experience, having taught since the age of 13 through my school’s mentoring programme and later as a private tutor. In my lessons, I focus on clear explanations, a solid understanding of the basics and helping students gain confidence in using the language. I offer both in-person lessons in Dublin and online, depending on the student’s preference.
