About Malina

Hey! I'm Malina, a native German speaker living in South Africa for the past 7 years. My absolute passion lies in education and understanding how the human brain processes language. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching, Learning and Training Psychology and Educational Science.

Alongside my academic background, I bring 7 years of professional experience in customer service. For you, this means you are getting a tutor who truly knows how to listen, loves connecting with people from all walks of life, and brings endless patience and flexibility to every single session. We will always move at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you.

With my background in educational psychology, I deeply understand the academic pressures and learning blocks that students often face. That is why I am dedicated to creating an ultra-supportive, judgement-free space for my learners. In my lessons, mistakes are never a problem—they are just beautiful proof that your brain is learning and growing!

I love breaking down complex German grammar and vocabulary into clear, friendly, and easy-to-understand formats. Whether you are a South African high school student working toward your Matric exams (IEB/NSC), or an adult beginner (A1-A2) preparing for an exciting new chapter relocating overseas, I am here to coach and encourage you every step of the way.

About the lesson

My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to your specific goals. With my background in learning and teaching psychology, my sessions are designed to lower language anxiety and to maximise memory retention. Whether you are prepping for your Matric exams or starting from scratch, you can expect a balanced mix of conversational practice, reading comprehension, and structured grammar. Every lesson provides a safe, encouraging space to build your confidence and help you master German naturally.
