About Simone
I am Simone a 33 years old Italian, that moved to Melbourne 7 years ago to enjoy the Australian lifestyle.
After 7 years I am a happy Australian citizen with two little aussies running around my house.
I am a certified trainer and assessor with a degree in communication and I work for the human resources of Yum! restaurant brand, the parent company of KFC and Taco Bell.
I want to teach Italian because I have met many 2nd and 3rd-generation Italians that have lost the knowledge of the Italian language.
I would like to help them reacquire that knowledge so they can talk with their nonno and nonna or spend their holiday in Italy, proud to know a beautiful and historical language.

My classes are tailored around learners' needs and goals.
The classes start with an assessment of language and literacy to evaluate your level of Italian.
Once, we know your level, together, we will decide what goal you want and can achieve.
With your main goal in main, I will list for you smaller goals, weekly/monthly steps that will help you keep track of your progresses.
At this point, with the path very clear ahead of us, we will start to learn, writing, listening, and speaking.
Depending on your level I will adjust the difficulty of the classes and the exercises.
I will always ensure that the classes are light and easygoing, as boredom is the enemy of learning!
1 class runs for 1 hr.
1 extra hour of "conversation only" can be booked once your level of Italian is sufficient.
Classes are for all levels and ages.
I have designed the classes based on my experience as a trainer and assessor and the knowledge acquired in my communication degree, as I strongly believe they help with retention and engagement.
