About Kyujin
Hi! I’m a native Korean speaker in my 20s, currently living in Canada.
I have around 4 years of private tutoring experience, as well as experience teaching English at an academy in Korea. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of different ages and levels, so I’m comfortable adjusting my explanations and teaching style to each person.
I’m also fluent in English, which allows me to explain Korean grammar, vocabulary, and subtle differences in meaning clearly when needed.
As a university student from Korea now living abroad, I can also share a more personal and up-to-date perspective on Korean culture, everyday life, university life, travel, and the way young Koreans actually speak.
I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and enjoying the process of learning Korean.

My lessons are focused on practical, natural Korean that you can actually use in real life.
Depending on your level and goals, we can work on everyday conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, slang, or natural expressions that native Korean speakers actually use.
Since I’m fluent in English, I can explain difficult grammar and subtle differences in meaning clearly in English, which is especially helpful for beginners.
I also like to build lessons around topics you genuinely enjoy, such as travel, Korean culture, university life, movies, music, or living abroad. As a Korean in my 20s currently living in Canada, I can also help you learn more natural and modern Korean rather than overly formal textbook expressions.
Each lesson will be adjusted to your level, pace, and interests, with plenty of conversation and opportunities to ask questions.
