I graduated from Youngstown State University in Ohio with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in English. Mike helped me with English from the basics to advanced levels, and continues to help me. I just love how he adapts and remembers my mistakes in subsequent lessons and the things we can improve on. I'm even teaching him a little Portuguese until he moves to São Paulo! I think Michael is a very reliable teacher because he is patient and really cares about seeing his students progress. He is intelligent and always finds a light-hearted and creative way to explain things. When I started, I had some vocabulary, but I would freeze up when it came time to speak, and he was the one who helped me unlock my English.
