About Ella
Hello! I’m from China and a native Mandarin speaker, currently studying at university in Sydney. While I’m not a professional teacher, my experience with the language and my understanding of Chinese culture and everyday life allow me to guide students effectively. I love sharing my knowledge and helping students reach their language goals in a way that’s fun and encouraging.
I speak simple English, which helps me communicate with non-native speakers, and my lessons are open to anyone, regardless of age or skill level. Whether you’re just starting to learn Mandarin or want to improve your conversational skills, I’m here to support you on your language journey!
I’m teaching Mandarin because I’d love to earn some pocket money, but more importantly, I want to help people learn authentic, everyday Chinese in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
