About Wen
Hi, I’m Victoria — currently a Juris Doctor student in Australia. I used to work as a lawyer in China and also hold a national teaching qualification. I believe my greatest strengths are my approachable personality and strong command of the Chinese language. I’m good at recognising each student’s unique strengths and will always encourage you to speak Chinese with confidence. It’s already amazing that you’ve chosen to learn a completely new language! Firstly, interest is the best teacher. Learning without motivation can only be painful, so I hope you enjoy learning Chinese. Secondly, the essence of learning is repetition and application. In this class, I will frequently ask you questions you need to remember. Besides explaining specific vocabulary, I will require communication in Chinese only. Each lesson will be structured around different scenarios based on students' characteristics, covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Relax and I hope to first become your friend and then your teacher. Finally, my English is average, but my Chinese is very good. Feel free to challenge yourself!
