About Joanna
I’m a native Polish speaker with experience helping individuals begin their journey of learning the Polish language. I’m passionate about making learning feel approachable, enjoyable and rewarding, especially for those who may feel unsure about where to start.
My professional background is in psychology and business psychology, where I have worked with Polish companies to support and establish wellbeing in the workplace. Wellbeing and the Polish language are two of my passions, and I believe they can work beautifully together.
Learning a new language is not only a practical skill — it can also encourage us to be more focused, present and engaged. It gives us the opportunity to connect with a different culture, understand new ways of expressing ourselves and challenge ourselves in a positive way. I want to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment where students can build their confidence while discovering the beauty and uniqueness of the Polish language.

I know that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging, but I believe the best way to learn is to make it fun, engaging and enjoyable. Polish is such a unique and fascinating language, with expressions and phrases that simply cannot be translated directly into English. Learning Polish isn’t just about learning words and grammar — it can open up a different perspective on culture, communication and the way we express ourselves.
I’m passionate about creating a friendly and supportive learning environment where you can feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and building your confidence. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to improve your existing Polish, I’d love to help make your language-learning journey enjoyable and rewarding!
