About Luis
I have been a bilingual student all my life. Besides English and Spanish, I am a student of Japanese. I love traveling and different cultures. I have been an elementary bilingual teacher in Texas and now in Washington and my experience has been mostly helping the sons and daughters of Spanish speaking immigrants reach and surpass their academic goals. I look for the strategies my students use to learn and flexibly modify the way I teach to be able to reach them in the most personalized manner possible. I have a proven track record because I choose to engage the students and strengthening their self-esteem to detonate their learning!
