About Santiago
Hello! My name is Santiago, I’m 22 years old and currently a university student. I was born in Spain and come from a Colombian family, so Spanish has always been a natural part of my everyday life and culture.
I decided to teach Spanish because I enjoy helping others learn and gain confidence in a new skill. I understand that starting a new language can feel challenging, especially at the beginning, so I aim to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment.
As a university student, I am organised, reliable, and patient. I prepare structured lessons adapted to each student’s level and goals, with a focus on clear explanations and steady progress.
My lessons are best suited for beginners, GCSE students, and adults who want to build a strong foundation in Spanish and feel more confident speaking in real life situations.

My Spanish lessons are designed to be friendly, structured, and beginner focused with an emphasis on building confidence speaking Spanish from the very first lesson.
I am a native Spanish speaker and currently a university student, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and in a way that feels relaxed and easy to follow.
My teaching approach is practical and supportive, focusing on pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, and simple sentence building rather than overwhelming grammar.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are fully personalised to the student’s level and goals. The first lesson is always used as an introduction to assess your current level, understand your objectives, and agree on a clear learning plan moving forward.
These lessons are ideal for complete beginners, GCSE students, and adults who want to improve their spoken Spanish for school, travel, or personal interest. No previous experience is required, and mistakes are always encouraged as part of the learning process!
My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident, supported, and motivated to make steady progress at their own pace.
