About Michelle
I am a high school graduate currently taking a gap year before starting at Yale in Fall of 2021. As a native bilingual speaker who also received a 5 on the Spanish AP exam, I am connected to the Hispanic language both academically and culturally. My experience is wide-ranging; as someone who has tutored both a seventh-grader and University of Southern California college student, I work well across all ages and backgrounds. All of my students report increased clarity and stress relief after working together.

I give beginner-level classes to anyone excited to dip their toes into this new, beautiful language. My approach is equal parts empathetic and organized, as I'll provide a robust framework for you to follow at your own pace. We'll begin with the bare bones of Spanish grammar before gradually adding on more complex structures and patterns as we progress, picking up a robust vocabulary along the way. I'm so excited to explore with you the rich opportunities that come with knowing the U.S.'s second-most popular language, and I hope you are, too!

See above for reduced rates for the purchase of 5 or 10 hours upfront. I also charge a cancellation fee of $7 per prescheduled hour in events which the client cancels less than 24 hours in advance. Aside from these caveats, my fees are consistent!
