About Irene
As a dedicated and professional tutor, I am committed to helping students achieve their language goals with confidence and ease. I have been teaching since I finished my IGCSEs, participating in my school’s mentoring programme and offering private lessons after school. With years of experience, I have honed my skills in guiding students to success. Having studied at King’s College Madrid from the age of 3, I completed GCSE and A-Level Spanish with top marks and am now pursuing a bilingual Master’s in Business Legal Advice at IE University. Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, I have mastered the process of learning a language and understand the challenges and rewards that come with it. My lessons are personalised, thoughtfully structured, and delivered with patience and clarity. I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and build confidence. Whether you’re preparing for exams or looking to improve fluency, you can trust my expertise and passion for teaching to help you succeed :)

My tutoring approach is tailored, engaging, and student-focused, designed to meet individual needs and learning styles. I use interactive techniques such as conversation practice, real-life scenarios, and personalised exercises to make lessons both effective and enjoyable. Teaching Methodology I emphasise understanding over memorisation, helping students build confidence in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I use a mix of textbooks, digital resources, and cultural materials to make the language come alive. For exam preparation, I focus on past papers, mark schemes, and targeted strategies for success. Lesson Length Lessons typically last 1 hour, but I can adapt to longer or shorter sessions based on the student's preferences and goals. Qualifications & Experience I studied at King’s College Madrid since age 3, excelling in GCSE and A-Level Spanish (A* in both), and I am a native Spanish speaker. Currently, I’m pursuing a bilingual Master’s in Business Legal Advice at IE University. I’ve successfully helped students improve their language skills and achieve academic success. Who the Lessons Are For I teach students of all levels and ages, from beginners to advanced, including those preparing for GCSE, A-Level, or casual learners seeking fluency and cultural insight. Whether you’re a school student, professional, or language enthusiast, I’ll help you reach your goals!
