About Lucía
¡Hola! I’m Lucía, a native Spanish teacher with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages. I’m passionate about helping students discover the beauty and rhythm of the Spanish language. I have experience teaching in UK secondary schools (KS3, GCSE and A Level) and also enjoy working with adults who want to learn for travel, work or pleasure. I love creating lessons that are clear, engaging and adaptable to each student’s needs. My approach is interactive and communicative — I want my students to feel confident using Spanish in real situations, not just in the classroom. Whether you’re a beginner or preparing for exams, I’ll help you progress at your own pace and enjoy the journey!

About the lesson My lessons are interactive, structured, and focused on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. I use a variety of resources and strategies to help students make steady progress and retain what they learn. I adapt each lesson to the learner’s level, interests and goals, so that learning Spanish feels both enjoyable and achievable. Lesson length Lessons usually last 60 minutes, although longer or shorter sessions can be arranged depending on your needs. Qualifications and experience I am a native Spanish speaker with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages. I have experience teaching Spanish at KS3, GCSE and A Level, as well as supporting adult learners and beginners who want to develop their language skills for travel, work, or personal interest. Who the lessons are for I teach students of all ages and levels – from secondary school pupils preparing for exams to adults who wish to learn or improve their Spanish. My lessons are always tailored to each learner’s aims and pace.
