About Jordi
Hi, I’m Jordi, a native Spanish and Catalan speaker from the Barcelona area. I teach adults online and enjoy helping people turn Spanish from something they recognise into language they can genuinely use.
I work especially well with learners who want Spanish for professional communication, travel, relocation or everyday life in Spain. As a language learner myself, I understand the hesitation that comes just before speaking and how useful clear, practical feedback can be.
My approach is friendly, focused and practical: real conversation, precise corrections and a clear sense of what to practise next. If you want Spanish that works beyond the textbook, I would be happy to work with you.

I help adults use Spanish in real situations: travelling, moving to Spain, work, relationships and everyday conversations.
We start by identifying the situations where you most need Spanish. Each lesson combines guided speaking, useful vocabulary, natural expressions, pronunciation and clear grammar explanations. You will practise through realistic conversations and role-plays—not just textbook exercises.
Your first 30-minute session is a short needs analysis and mini-lesson. After that, I create a practical plan around your level, goals and availability. You will leave each lesson with a concise recap and one focused task, so your progress continues between sessions.
These lessons are suitable for complete beginners through intermediate learners. English can be used when it helps you understand faster, but the goal is to get you speaking Spanish confidently.
