About Alexander
I was born in the United States to a bilingual family, I learned Russian as my mother tongue and quickly picked up English by around 7. I've spent most of my life in America with plenty of time in Moscow as well leading to me speaking, writing, and reading both English and Russian at a native level. If you already have a basic base in Russian or English established but find trouble pronouncing words, I'm exactly what you need! If you've found other tutors unable to explain slang, cursing, and colloquial phenomena due to them being unable to relate it to your home culture, be that American, or Russian I'm exactly what you need! Due to my broad experiences in both the Russian and American cultures I will easily help you pickup on common slang and modern expressions. In addition due to my complete fluency in both languages I will be able to help adjust your pronunciation to ensure it as close to native as possible!

Alexander is a pure treasure among other tutors. He managed to develop both Russian and English to the highest possible level. For instance, unlike the majority of Americans, his vocab is way bigger than a few thousand words so there's a lot you can learn from him. He has an individual approach to all students so the lessons will be based completely on your needs. Also, Alex is really good at creating an informal atmosphere to make you feel comfortable so you quickly forget you're having a class, but rather a friendly conversation. If you appreciate great humor, you'll find his jokes hilarious. Highly recommended :))
