About Nam
I taught students German from scratch and prepared Uni students for exams. I also have a lot of students who want to focus on speaking. We have conversational lessons about any topics like holiday, sports or politics.
Throughout the years I realised the best way to improve language skills is to communicate a lot with native speakers and constantly talk. The effect will be faster and more efficient.
I have a background in banking and economics. I worked in a bank for several years in and studied business and economics in Germany, so I also can help you with business german.
I am a relaxed, very patient and open-minded guy so hit me up if you need any help :)

Hey guys, I am Nam. I was born and raised in Germany with Vietnamese roots. I grew up bilingual at home, so my native languages are German and Vietnamese. I lived in Germany my whole life but also lived in Vietnam, New Zealand and Australia.
I teach German to students who are on beginner, intermediate or advanced level. Every student is of course on a different level so every lesson is individual and customised to the student. I have a variety of textbooks for every level, but not every exercise in textbooks are useful because we talk differently in real life. That’s why I like to include text articles or German videos.

Perfect! Nam is a fantastic German teacher. Each lesson has a really nice flow and structure and he lays everything out in an easy to understand way whilst being a super friendly guy!

Perfect! Nam has been so far a fantastic tutor for practising my German-speaking! He is really patient, friendly, and easy to talk to, and keeps the conversation flowing with ease. During the conversation, he takes notes about points to review at the end of the session. I really appreciate this because it does not interrupt the flow of the conversation, and the recap is great for going over words or phrases that I stumbled over during the chat. Overall, if you're looking to quickly build confidence with your German-speaking, Nam will help tremendously with that!
