About Joel
Hello, I’m Joel, an English tutor, bestselling author and singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, and I have recently completed my CELTA (Cambridge English teaching) qualification. Through my CELTA training, I helped students develop their reading, listening, speaking, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and functional language in meaningful, real-world contexts. Through ongoing training to become a psychotherapist, I endeavor to bring empathy, patience, and a student-centered focus to every class.
