About Eliza
Hello! I am Eliza and study Natural Science (Chemistry, Biology and Economics) at Durham University, I am 19 and in my first year.
I adapt each session depending on the content we are approaching and the student I am working with to get the most understanding from a session.
I don’t just talk at the student as I think interactivity is the best way to learn. I use a mixture of past exam questions, PowerPoints using the Subject curriculum as well as explaining the different methods to learn and succeed. Students can bring questions they are struggling with and we can discuss, then I will find others of the same type of question to then reinforce and check understanding. I keep the sessions relaxed and positive to provide a comfortable environment that encourages any questions (there are no silly questions!).
I love feedback and will always take it on board and adapt.
In my free time I love keeping fit by playing Netball, trying new events out and going for coffee with friends.
