His way of teaching is creative. He taught us through life stories, which someday he would simply ask, "remember 'that' story?", and students would remember his lesson straight away.

I used to hardly understand English. Mr. George had been kind and incredibly patient to teach me about how to write academically in English. It's been three years since I graduated from my high school where Mr. George used to teach us, and up until now, my academic writing had brought me to lots of opportunities that seemed so far-fetched for me; I managed to land a scholarship abroad and got accepted to attend my first individual research conference!

George taught me English as a second language, and taking that fact into account, he's a truly passionate teacher. There's no hesitation in having long conversations with multiple subjects, in which he will not only engage you with an interesting discussion, he'll also evaluate your grammar and pronunciation. George points out everything that may be improved, multiple ways to improve said part, and he brings it up on subsequent meetings. There's always room for improvement.

I have known George for many years. As a university lecturer myself, I know George to be a patient, knowledgeable and effective teacher, moderator and communicator. His extensive experience in teaching English as a second language to people of a variety of backgrounds and languages has given him the experience to teach Academic English to anyone from virtually any background and level of proficiency. I cannot recommend George highly enough.
