Amanda is a great teacher! I feel like I have improved a lot through her lessons and on top of that they are a lot of fun :)

Amanda is a great tutor! I worked with her for a year and she was very helpful in improving my literary analysis and writing skills. Amanda is very specific with her feedback which helped a lot in figuring out exactly what needed improving (such as some language choices I made in writing) and she is very knowledgeable so it's great talking with her about books and passages because she can pull from many examples to help me understand the author, characters, plot, etc by referencing other works. Amanda is very patient and allows me to ask many qquestions which is great because I always left our sessions feeling more confident and knowledgeable. She also gave me new inspiration to make reading as a habit because she gave me really great recommendations for books based on what she knew about me from our sessions. She also recommended some that weren't typically my taste, but I ended up loving them! I now have a real joy for reading and I cant thank her enough that she gave that to me :) and my grades have definitely improved a lot! I highly recommend taking lessons with her
