About Kayren
I am a retired Elementary teacher, a Baylor reading specialist graduate. I also earned a master reading teacher certificate in the state of Texas. I taught for 30 years in the public school system, including reading intervention and tutoring classes.

My teaching method is phonics based along with basic sight words being taught. I believe that all students can read! They just need positive instruction helping to build confidence and enjoyment of reading. I also believe that children must read out loud everyday with an adult listening and coaching.
