About Mel
I’m a Newcastle-based artist and educator with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Ceramics) from National Art School, where I received the Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. I also completed a Diploma of Visual Arts at Newcastle Art School. I hold a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Master of Osteopathy, graduating with a Distinction average. My studies included extensive anatomy, neuroanatomy and human structure and function, and I have previous experience tutoring neuroanatomy.

I offer individual neuroscience/neuroanatomy lessons for students who want to develop a clearer understanding of the nervous system and its structures and functions.
I have a background in clinical science and osteopathy, with extensive study of anatomy and neuroanatomy, and previous experience tutoring neuroanatomy. I use clear explanations and visual approaches to help break down complex anatomical concepts and make them easier to understand and remember.
Lessons can be tailored to your course content, current level and specific areas you are finding challenging.
